Welcome to the Wyndham City Sharks Swimming Club

The Wyndham City Swimming Club (formerly the Werribee Swimming Club) is a non-for-profit organisation that provides squad training and club events for beginners, all the way through to State and National level competitors.

The Club caters for both able-bodied and multiple disability swimmers of all ages that would like to join a squad for fun, fitness and/or competition.

Our mission is to promote the sport of swimming in the Wyndham City municipality and the wider community by utilising local facilities and providing a dynamic and inclusive environment to all involved with the Wyndham City Swimming Club.

We aim to continuously promote a winning culture based around:

  • Ongoing learning/self-improvement
  • Discipline, focus and responsibility
  • Teamwork, cooperation and respect
  • Club and community leadership
  • Personal excellence

Our Club supports and has links with numerous community groups, including:

  • The Western Suburbs Triathlon Club
  • The Altona Surf Lifesaving Club
  • The Karen and Indigenous swimming programs (in conjunction with Lifesaving Victoria and Swimming Victoria).  Please click here to watch a You Tube clip involving our previous coach Janine Mizzi and some of our inspirational Karen swimmers.

The Wyndham City Swimming Club welcomes all new swimmers and families to the Club.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
